Meet Gonnette Smits, co-founder of Decorazzi and a designer with more than 35 years of experience. Officially addicted to color, pattern, and character, she knows better than anyone how to transform walls into artworks that speak.

With her interior design firm Muurbloem Design Studio Gonnette worked for prestigious clients such as Rabobank, Ibis Hotels, Stokke, Marriott Hotels, and Leonardo Hotels. She also designed the carpet collection Floorfashion by Muurbloem for Egecarpets.

As the art director of Decorazzi, Gonnette has a clear mission: to compile an international collection that breaks boundaries. For her, patterns are a universal language – a way to share stories, emotions, and cultures.

Her designs are bold and playful, with a distinct personal touch. Don't expect wallpaper that blends into the background, but real eye-catchers that give rooms energy, ambiance, and meaning.
